Back by popular demand! In honour of Mis Chappel Roan's iconic new country single "The Giver", we will be bringing Sapphic Country Night back to the main stage this May for a night of the most yeehaw tunes and good vibes. Join us at Phoenix Bar - K Road for a one-of-a-kind event full of country music, dancing, beveraginos and queer connections.
Country dress-up is encouraged - think cxnty little cowboy boots and bandanas. We will have instructors up on the stage teaching line dances if you fancy trying your hand. Whether you were a theatre kid OR have two left feet, there's a dance for everyone!
We will have the space all to ourselves so bring your pals, or come along solo to mix and mingle in a safe, closed, queer environment. We will bring back "Sapphic Search", our famous human bingo game designed to get everyone mingling and connecting.
Doors open to our Sapphics at 9:00 pm with dances starting at 9:30 pm. Our country dancing part of the evening will wrap up at 11:30 pm but the party doesn't stop there, we will be playing all your favourite tunes to take you into the night with doors closing at 1:00 am.
Tickets are limited so get in quick! We can't wait to see you there to live out our Miley Stewart Hoe Down throwdown fantasy.
