A conference for church members and leaders


You are invited to join us for Regen25, where we take a deep dive into discipleship through Jesus’ death and resurrection. The journey of discipleship involves continually dying to ourselves and walking in true resurrected life In Christ.

There will be main sessions, times of worship, seminars, and networking opportunities.


2 days - Thursday late afternoon to lunchtime Saturday

Friday-only, or evenings-only tickets also available


Pre-session for ACM Senior Church Leaders at 2pm, Thur 22 May. More details to follow.


Speakers

Rev Dr Andrew Katay, Senior Minister of Christ Church Inner West, Sydney, and CEO of City to City (CTC) Australia, is our keynote speaker.

Rt Rev Steve Maina, Bishop of Nelson, will speak on Growing Deeper Roots in Fragile Moments.

Rev Dr Andrew Burgess, Dean of Bishopdale College, Nelson, will lead our morning bible studies.

Rev Dr Nathan McLellan, Director of Venn Foundation NZ and Priest Assistant at St Margaret's Anglican Church, will speak at some of our main sessions.

Rev Fraser McDermott, National Chair of the Anglican Community of St Mark (ACM) and Vicar of St Margaret's Anglican Church, Hillsborough, will host the event.


Seminars to include :

  • Truly Transformational Leadership is Servant-Hearted, with Lucy Flatt and Harry Lokolong
  • Money, Mission, Madness - Exploring the Cost of Missions to the Church, with Carl Tinnion and Bruce White
  • Seminars also led by Andrew Katay and Nathan McLellan
  • More seminar topics and speakers to come.

REGISTRATION:

  • ACM Senior Church Leaders registration is from 1:30pm Thurs, before their pre-session.
  • General registration is from 3pm Thurs, for a 4pm start.

Morning and afternoon teas are included throughout. Lunch is included on Friday.

The conference ends 1pm on Saturday

Frequently asked questions

Accessibility

The church has access ramps and level entry into the building on each floor. There is a disabled toilet (no shower) on each floor. We apologise that there is no hearing loop installed. If you have any specific needs, please contact the Conference Administrator, Sarah McDermott, sarah@stmags.org.nz

Accommodation / Billets

There are a limited number of billets with local church members. These will be allocated on a first come first served basis according to when you ask. Please show your interest when you are booking your ticket under 'add-ons'.

Add-ons and Extras

For evenings meals or to request a billet, please choose the relevant add-on when you book your ticket. The add-ons are on a separate tab in the ticket purchasing section.

Bursaries

To apply for a bursary, do NOT buy your ticket, but contact the Conference Administrator, Sarah McDermott at sarah@stmags.org.nz instead. To donate to the bursary fund, please contact Sarah directly.

Children

We are sorry, but as there is no special provision for children. Nursing infants are welcome.

Dinners

Dinner for Thursday and Friday together may be purchased as an add-on by midnight Sunday 18 May. This add-on gets you both meals. There is no single dinner ticket. If you miss this deadline, please ask at registration on the day to see if there are any spare meals available.

Dietary Requirements

Please give details of any special dietary requirements when you book. We will need to know any dietary requirements by Sunday 18 May at the latest. After this, please email the Conference Administrator, Sarah McDermott, immediately at sarah@stmags.org.nz

Donate

If you would like to donate towards the Bursary Fund or to general conference costs, please contact the Conference Administrator, Sarah McDermott, directly at sarah@stmags.org.nz If you would like one, please ask for a year end tax receipt at the time of making your donation.

Group Bookings

If you are coming as a group, please give us your group leader's details in the booking form. You can add bookings separately later to your group if you give us the same group leader's details.

Lunch

Lunch on Friday is included in the cost of your ticket. There are also a number of local cafes for you to enjoy. Please provide any dietary requirements when you book, and by Sunday 18 May at the latest.

Refunds

Up to midnight 14 May 2024, a full refund less a charge to cover Eventbrite's fees is available. From 15 May 2024, a 50% refund less a charge to cover Eventbrite's fees is available. Eventbrite's fees are non-refundable. Contact the Conference Administrator, Sarah McDermott, sarah@stmags.org.nz

Parking

St Margaret's has a large church car park and there is free on street parking within a 4 minute walk.

Registration

ACM SENIOR LEADERS REGISTRATION is Thurs 22 May at 1:30pm, with the first session at 2pm. For all other delegates, GENERAL REGISTRATION is at 3pm on Thurs 22 May with afternoon tea. The conference ends Sat 24 May at 1pm. There is a draft programme above, in 'About This Event'.

Senior Church Leaders Pre-Session

There will be an extra session before the main conference begins for those in appointed church leadership, including Vicars, Associates, Senior Pastors etc. The tickets cost the same as for general admission. More information to follow as it is confirmed by the session leaders.
