The session will also focus on outdoor mobility options, highlighting the Magic Mobility portfolio and clinical decision-making for product selection. Practical demonstrations, including the Q700-Up standing power wheelchair, will enhance learning and engagement.

Steve's Bio:

Product Consultant & Power Chair Specialist - Medifab

Steve’s career in the mobility industry began at 18, after forming a deep appreciation for wheelchair users from a young age. With over 30 years of experience, Steve first honed his skills as a technician, repairing and understanding the inner workings of power chairs. He later transitioned into sales and training, where he now helps therapists and advisors deliver tailored solutions.

Steve is driven by a passion to improve the lives of those with mobility challenges, sharing his expertise with technicians, end-users, and clinicians alike. His dedication extends beyond his work, having volunteered in Samoa to assist with wheelchair set-ups for those with limited resources.

Amy's Bio:

Clinical Director - Sunrise Medical

Based in Sydney, Australia, Amy develops and delivers national and international training programmes on Assistive Technology, focusing on enhancing inclusion, health, and well-being for individuals with physical disabilities. She also plays a key role in product improvement and development at Sunrise Medical Australia.

With a passion for innovation, Amy is dedicated to finding practical solutions that create meaningful change, even in challenging environments. She was instrumental in establishing Australia’s chapter of GoBabyGo, a charity promoting early mobility for young children.

Amy is an experienced speaker who has lectured extensively on seating and mobility, wound management, and spinal cord injury rehabilitation. She has also travelled to developing countries, sharing knowledge and learning from medical communities worldwide.
