Microsoft will be sharing their experiences with the Pride Academy, which aims to create a safe space for LGBTQIA+ students and early-mid career people to network, support into career pathways by acting as buddies, create a community, and identify and nurture talent.

The program is designed to support LGBTQIA+ students and early-mid career people in their academic and professional development and to foster a culture of inclusion and diversity. Pride Academy is open to all LGBTQIA+ students and early to mid-career people regardless of their degree, discipline, or background.

Microsoft is now working to launch 1KQueer, a pathway for students to join technical skilling initiatives and professional development, and would love to bring more businesses and community partners on board to support students, nurture our community and find talent.
