In this 2.5 hour workshop, you will learn about the ancient Japanese technique of Shibori, led by contemporary visiting artist, Yukihito Kanai. He has come to New Zealand this summer to share his knowledge, philosophy and expertise with the Kāpiti community.

You will have the opportunity to dye your own furoshiki (cotton wrap) using New Zealand plant-based dyes and indigo during the session.

This is a beginner level workshop. Workshop is open to adults and children from 12 years of age.
