Frequently asked questions

Is there a cost to attending this session?

Whāraurau is funded by the Government to provide this session so there is no cost to you. However, if you have registered and are not able to attend, please withdraw your registration on your Eventbrite account so we can offer your place to someone else.

Will I get a certificate of attendance?

We only provide a certificate of attendance/completion for some of our training courses. If you require one for your manager/organisation, then please let us know.

I have been waitlisted, so when will I find out if I can attend?

We’ll let you know as soon as we can and within a time frame that allows you to make travel arrangements.

What if I can't attend?

There's a cost to putting on this session, so it’s really important we know in advance that you won’t be attending. It also means we can offer your place to someone else. You can withdraw your registration on your Eventbrite account or email coordinator@whāraurau.org.nz.

Why do you require my manager's email?

There may be times where a manager’s consent is required to attend a training, and also if you don’t turn up, we may message them to find out if you’re okay.

Will the session be recorded?

We do record some of our training/events and if we do, then we will make this clear at the start of the session. If it has been recorded, and you wish to receive a copy please email coordinator@wharaurau.org.nz

I'm not sure if I meet the pre-requisites?

Please email coordinator@wharaurau.org.nz

I haven't received a confirmation email or zoom link yet?

Please email coordinator@wharaurau.org.nz

The session is in-person, however the location hasn't been confirmed yet.

We like to get dates in people's diaries early, so will open registrations before a location is confirmed. As soon as it is, you will be notified.
