    Yoga & Meditation

This retreat is designed to be an inclusive experience, welcoming participants at any level to delve into the multifaceted nature of human existence. It focuses on the physical aspect (the body) as the most tangible dimension; the mind, as the realm of thoughts and emotions, representing the subtlest aspect; and the breath, serving as the vital intermediary that plays a pivotal role in the practice of yoga. These three dimensions are not isolated; they are deeply interconnected, influencing and supporting one another.

Through a carefully curated internalisation program, attendees will engage in various practices to harmonise these dimensions. This includes performing physical postures and dynamic sequences to enhance body awareness and flexibility, engaging in focused breathing exercises to regulate energy flow, and participating in meditation sessions that foster mindfulness, deep insight and an open heart. Periods of relaxation, including Yoga Nidra and the use of Tibetan Bowls, will enhance these practices.

The proposed approach comes from the famous Indian Yogi T.K.V. Desikachar and is characterised by its progressive teaching method, which respects the individuality and capabilities of each participant. Additionally, the meditation practices offered are inspired by the rich traditions of Tibetan Buddhism, aiming to guide participants toward a profound realisation of their innermost nature, free from the habitual patterns and limitations that often constrain our experience.

Since there are several magnificent convenient outdoor areas, Yoga and Meditation sessions will be given outdoors whenever possible or indoors if the weather requires it.
