Welcome to the Hunterville Home & School 4WD Fundraiser!
Come join us for a day filled with off-road excitement and fun. Whether you're a seasoned 4WD enthusiast or just looking for a bit of a scenic adventure, this event is perfect for everyone.
The tour will take you through the stunning scenery of rural Rangitikei. You will drive through four different properties (including the iconic Otairi and Te Kumu stations), on a route not usually accessible to the public. So bring your family and friends along to enjoy a catered day out, in the rugged beauty of our region.
You’ll also be helping to raise funds for our awesome Hunterville School Heroes! All funds raised directly benefit Hunterville School students, and help to fund the opportunities, resources and experiences that make our school so special.
IMPORTANT:
1) Participation in this event requires a fully warranted and registered 4-Wheel Drive vehicle. If your vehicle does not meet these requirements upon inspection (at the start of the event), you will be unable to join the tour. Tickets will NOT be refunded.
2) Large sections of this event are weather dependent. If the ground to too wet/soft, an alternative route will be used, to avoid damage to vital farm infastructure.
Times and extra details:
- 8:00am - Arrival and vehicle inspection (Hunterville Domain/ Rugby Clubrooms)
- 8:30am - Welcome and event briefing
- 9:00am - Tour departs
- Lunch - at Te Kumu Station (provided)
- 4:30pm (approx) - Tour concludes at Otairi Station (BBQ provided and cash bar on site)
Ticket prices: (excluding booking fees)
- $180 p/vehicle (includes 2 people)
- $60 p/additional adult passenger
- $10 p/additional child passenger
- Preschoolers - free
Note: All additional passengers must have seats in a participating 4WD vehicle
