High Tea at Tupare Gardens

Mangorei Primary School PTA and the Taranaki Regional Council invite you to join us for a delightful afternoon of High Tea at the beautiful Tūpare Gardens. Held in the historic Chapman Taylor designed house, come dressed in your finest attire and relive the splendor by indulging in a selection of delicious treats, and sip on some exquisite teas. This in-person event is the perfect way to relax and enjoy the company of friends or family surrounded by the beautiful house and gardens. Don't miss out on this unique experience!

*Fundraising event where 100% of the proceeds go to Mangorei Primary School.

Frequently asked questions

Is there mobility access to the house?

Unfortunately, no. Vehicle access is not permitted. From the Tupare car park there are some steep steps, or a paved hill to walk down, and back up again upon departure.

It won't let me book for more than 10 people, why?

Please email us at rachlldeegan@hotmail.com if you wish to book for groups larger than 10. Due to the size of rooms and the set-up of the tables, we need to ensure we can accommodate larger numbers.

Do we have to dress in our 'finest attire'

No of course not. There is no dress standard. We just think it's a great excuse to put on our Sunday best.

Do you cater to dietary requirements?

We certainly do. We do need to know before the day of the event though so we can accommodate. There is an option to notify us when purchasing the tickets.

Can children attend?

Yes, children can attend. The ticket price remains the same but please ensure you let us know that children are attending, so we can ensure there are suitable beverage options for them.
