Avid music collector and contributor to the NZ festival scene DirdyGerdi is known as a formidable force on the dancefloor as well as behind the decks. Within a very short time she ascended in the Kiwi festival circuit, leaving an indelible mark with her infectious energy. She promises excellent intentional selections from a variety of genres; regularly combining sass and sexiness with groovy, poetic basslines. Her mission extends beyond the sharing of music, aiming to cultivate confidence and inspire authentic self-expression in her audiences through the addition of dance & visual performances to conceptual sets revolving around themes & storylines.
Her recent set at Shipwrecked Music & Arts Festival 2025 was a testament to that, where the concept of diversity & embracing all forms of human bodies & love were celebrated. Blending generes and energies to create heaving dance floors across venues across the world, she is a very special DJ who is not to be missed.
In addition to her role as a crew member and resident DJ of Shipwrecked Festival, DirdyGerdi is also recognized as the driving force behind Silk Collective, aiming to connect the underground NZ house & techno scene with the rest of the world.
