Event lasts 2 hours

Give your garments and textiles new life. We will explore darning and patching, decorative stitching such as Boro and Sashiko, and visible mending. This is a peer to peer session which means all levels of skill are welcome where we can learn from each other through discussion and practice, facilitated by quilter and dyer, Melissa. 10AM onwards. $10 donation suggested. Registration essential.

This event is facilitated by Melissa Goodfellow AKA Meltron. After leaving Auckland in 2013 she took pause in London and completed a Masters Degree in Fashion and Embodiment at the design department of Goldsmiths University. A creative thinker, sewist, quilter, dyer, DJ and event designer she hosts meet ups and workshops on a weekly basis at OORT Studio.
